Commissions:

I can work closely with you on any project you can imagine.

From kitchen splash-backs to one off sculptures for a special anniversary or large public artworks.

I can even add ashes to jewellery or artworks to remember someone special.

Commissions

This piece was commissioned by Burn The Curtain Theatre Company. It was created to be displayed outdoors in several different green spaces in and around Exeter. I ran 3 public workshops to discuss ‘what green spaces mean to you’ and each participant was able to create their own ‘glass’ panel using coloured paper and pens. It was a privilege to then interpret these panels into real fused glass.

32 individual artworks make up the total glass panels in ‘The Glass Quilt’

The Glass Quilt

Blossoming Meadow

This piece was commissioned from a husband to his wife for their 40th wedding anniversary.

She loved her garden and he wanted a way to bring the outside in.

Under The Sea

This piece was commissioned by a daughter to her father who used to be an avid scuba diver but was now going blind. We discussed ways to make the artwork textured so that he could feel the details. The coral is made with tac fused vitrigraph, glass dots for the seahorse and copper foil for the fish.

Flower Meadow

This memorial piece was commissioned by a family for the loss of their beloved mum and grandma. She loved her garden and her ashes were incorporated into the piece combined with glass frit below the surface of the grass. The piece sits in an oak candle stand.
